Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aalayam handles your information. In short: Aalayam works offline, has no accounts, and does not collect, send, or sell any personal information. Everything you create stays on your computer.

01

Introduction

Aalayam is a Windows desktop app operated by abeen. It runs entirely on your computer and works without an internet connection.

02

Information we collect

None. Aalayam has no sign-up or account, no analytics or tracking, and no advertising, and it does not send anything about you or how you use it to us or to anyone else.

03

What stays on your computer

Aalayam keeps the following on your computer:

  • the songs, books, and corrections you add
  • your order of service and settings
  • pictures, videos, and PDFs you import
  • automatic backups of your song database, made before updates

This data is stored in your Windows user profile (the app's AppData folder). It never leaves your computer unless you move it yourself - for example, by exporting your songs to a file.

04

Web pages you open

Aalayam has a Web panel that opens web pages you type in - for example, a camera on your church network. Those pages load directly on your computer, we don't see what you open, and each site's own privacy policy applies.

05

Microsoft Store

If you install Aalayam from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download and updates under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

06

When you contact us

If you email or call us for support, we use your contact details and message only to reply to you. We don't share them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to [email protected].

07

Removing your data

  • Microsoft Store version - uninstalling Aalayam removes the data it created.
  • Installer (setup.exe) version - uninstalling keeps your songs, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. To remove them as well, delete the church-presenter folder in %APPDATA% after uninstalling.
  • Exported song files - these are ordinary files; delete them wherever you saved them.
08

Children's privacy

Aalayam collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

09

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Aalayam handles data - for example, by adding a feature that goes online - we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
